Introduction 

This document talks about what ‘heads of security’ needs to know besides providing the technical people the relevant knowledge for integrating the formula for indoor drone detection.

Applicability

We live now in a world of robotics, drones and remote control technologies.

Drones are becoming a reliant tool to trace and track, spying, stealing, delivering, collecting besides bombing and killing by using some weapon. Obviously, there are differently sized drones for specific purposes. 

Miniaturized size drones could enter discreetly into buildings or enclosed facilities, position themself on a ledge and wait (deactivate) and reactivate purposely for mission.

The suggested methodology within this doc is powered by PSIM that integrates various methods to detect drones besides offers methods to mitigate the threats.

What is important for security investigators is to find the insider threat that could use drones from within the building or enclosed facility to serve them mission, which could be, for example, by transporting something to the outside or obtaining something from within. The knowledge on how to mitigate such is within the document.
