Rosslare's new line of patented readers caters to designers, planners and architects needing more imaginative access control systems. As design is increasingly playing a central role in buildings and interiors, the new range is well poised to meet these market demands.

Access control readers to date mostly share a uniform design with slight shape and size modifications. Industrial designers, architects and planners on the other hand are increasingly demanding elegant designs, as well as reliable access control products. Rosslare soon realized that customers hoping to combine security with style were left with little choice.

Assembling a team of talented industrial designers, Rosslare set out to create its architectural reader line. The entire range has been designed to seamlessly blend into installations where aesthetics is key. The new patented family also includes the AYC-Exx series of ultra-slim readers.

The new reader line was developed to meet stringent quality demands. Each reader comprises of unique light and color codes implemented in high quality materials that have been finished in a special polishing process. Being user friendly they are easy to install, easy to operate and highly configurable.

The readers come with a highly touch sensitive Piezo keypad and a proximity antenna frame in different colors.

Built to meet multi-site access control demands, in and outdoors, the readers feature optical tamper detection, anti-vandal, anti-inflammable and anti-combustion capabilities.

They are suited for harsh construction environments such as refineries and oil rigs on one hand and elegant interiors such as hotels, offices and luxury resident homes on the other.

Rosslare Pioneers Innovative Illuminated Proximity Reader

The Illuminated RGB Reader transforms style and functionality into a new concept of security. Using eight different dynamically controlled options, the Reader can be color coded to provide advanced alerts with striking illumination.

The AY-R12 RGB Reader is a unique access control device with the capabilities to generate eight mode options of mood indications and condition alerts. Operated through wired inputs, the reader is powered and managed remotely from any standard Access Control System through output control.

Designed like a prism, the AY-R12 RGB Reader dark and elegant front is enhanced by two side light bars, to create a unique illumination effect. The product's over molding exterior with a high gloss finish, adds a touch of hi-tech chic to any domestic or office environment.

Featuring multi-color illumination, the AY-R12 RGB Reader's true value lies in the ability to provide a variety of alert options. Applications are infinite and can vary depending on the installation environment. In the home, office hospital, clinic, or any other institutional environment, the AY-R12 RGB Reader can be color coded to alert any type of emergency. Installed outside an office door, the reader can provide multiple functionalities - from alerting patient line ups, visitor arrivals, space occupation and much more.

The product's readability range for RFID cards reaches up to eight centimeters (3.15"). The product is protected using an optical back and cover tamper optical switch.

AC-525 provides the best of all worlds; advanced networked access control integrated with a digital video server using Edge DVR technology, all through a simple to install and operate system.

Most importantly the system comes with two analog camera inputs and voice channels enabling high quality audio/video streaming synchronized with real time access control data using a state of the art embedded Linux DVR server and MPEG-4 compatibility at a wide range of resolutions up to full Q-CIF.

Supporting two standard PIN/Proximity readers, four relay outputs and four dual EOL inputs geared up to 30,000 access control users, it is ideal for schools, universities, banks, commercial, residential, medical, airports, telecom, military and public installations.

Above and beyond standard communication

The integrated panels come with an embedded Linux OS and web server to deliver advanced network communications options. Each can encode and digitally broadcast two audio/video channel signals over a built-in Ethernet TCP/IP connection.

Surveillance capabilities

Digital multimedia streaming enables real time remote video surveillance of MPEG-4 over the LAN/WAN, mobile devices and video systems.

Flexible recording options

The system's USB 2.0 Edge DVR provides revolutionary on-board local recording with 32GB USB Key on a range of triggers, in addition to the traditional NVR network server storage, with 2-channel PTZ control per panel.

Onboard options include pre-alarm, post event timers and custom recording preferences as well as a

Rosslare launches AY-Z12 - Long Range Outdoor Proximity Reader

The AY-Z12 Long Range Proximity Reader reaching a maximum range of 720 mm (28.3"), has been specially designed to work outdoors with standard hands-free cards and tags. The Reader is compact in size, compact in price, yet high on quality, durability and design.

This user-friendly Reader is easy to install and operate; its output format of standard Wiegand 26 bits enables seamless communication with most common controllers. It also conveniently contains two LED indicators that show a power up status or card reading status.

Comprising a modern looking design and small footprint, the Reader is ideal for indoor or out door access control. Its stylish sheath has been fully sealed in a rugged waterproof enclosure to ensure smooth processing in the harshest of outdoor environments.

SP-03 Elderly Care Telephone – Wireless Emergency System and the associated kits SP-03H, SP-03G, ELD-1H Kit, ELD-1G Kit

The SP-03 combines an advanced personal emergency response device with a high performance security system, all housed in a well featured desktop speakerphone. Rosslare's AC-225 Networked Access Control System:
Two reader control system of networked HW Controllers & Client/Server Enterprise PC Software.
Rosslare's AC-225, is a networked access control system for medium to large scale applications handling up to 30,000 card holding users, and up to 10,000 events in the event log driven by Rosslare's powerful, flexible and easy to use PC Enterprise software.

The system provides the flexibility of connecting multiple door networks across several communications platforms with on-board RS-485 and Ethernet and optional TCP/IP LAN, and PSTN Modem.

An additional IO expansion board is available, for up to 8 relay outputs and 10 inputs, with full programming flexibility and integration with systems such as Alarm systems and with dedicated applications such as elevator control.

Each ACU subnets, consisting of 1 or more ACUs, may be connected to a PC running the AS-225 Server PC Software for continuous event monitoring, or periodically for batch downloading of event data, administration and maintenance. Other PCs on the network may connect to the server by running the AS-225 Client PC Software. The system provides an ideal, modular, expandable, and flexible solution for commercial and institutional needs.

The AS-225 system runs on Microsoft® Windows® 98/Me and NT/2000/XP operating systems and supports MS-SQL Databases. It is ideal for an enterprise scale application deployment, utilizing Client/Server architecture, allows access to multiple local or remote door networks, from multiple PC terminals within a local network.

The AC-Q41 and AC-Q42 family of Controllers
Designed for high-traffic locations, with several doors needing physical access control, with PIN Codes, and/or Proximity 125 KHz Cards or Tags. These models are heavy duty tested, and are built to be used hostile environments, such as all weather outdoors.

The AC-Q42 Prox & PIN stand-alone controller family and AC-Q41 PIN only stand-alone controller family have been designed to be the most cost effective anti-vandal solution for outdoor residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

The controllers are capable of handling up to 500 users, with each user capable of being assigned with one or two codes, providing the capability to have three different security levels.

The AC-Q42 contains a built-in proximity card reader enabling dual technology Prox & PIN codes for added security. Housed in a metal resistant enclosure, completely epoxy potted with an internal keys heater, the AC-Q41 and AC-Q42 are ready to function rain or shine.

These weather-proof, potted readers are available in 26-Bit Wiegand format (AY-x12 Series), Clock & Data format (AY-x14 Series) and Multi-Format (AY-x20 Series). AYC-E55 Convertible Ultra-Slim Piezo PIN Reader / Controller

The new product is a convertible PIN unit (see explanation box below) in the shape of the favorable AC-E75.

The AYC-E55 offers programmable PIN transmission formats, LED Control and tamper detection, providing extra security and flexibility. Come rain or shine, this unit can handle the challenge, with its rugged, waterproof metallic housing for maximum durability.

The piezoelectric keypad with its high sensitivity keys allows easy and smooth operation, making the unit ideal for residential and commercial applications The Unique ultra-slim profile, smooth metallic surface and high sensitive piezoelectric keys make this unit highly attractive for all-weather PIN access applications.

Fully sealed and epoxy potted in a metal housing, the AYC-E55 offers a highly attractive yet durable solution for any need as part of the Convertible line of readers/controllers, this unit can be operated as a keypad reader which connects to any standard controller, or it can convert into a secure 500-users standalone controller when connected to a PS-x5T intelligent power supply/relay unit.
