Reach Systems announces the addition of Jerry Phillips, based in Memphis, TN, who joins the company as the Southeast Regional Sales Manager.

From distribution to manufacturing, installation and central station monitoring, Jerry has been involved in most aspects of the security business and brings over 20 years of his experience from the industry. Most recently, Jerry was the regional sales manager for HID Global Networked Access Solutions and has previously worked for companies such as Wheelock and GE Security, among others.

Jerry is a die-hard believer in Managed Access Control and believes it to be the next generation of recurring monthly revenue.

Reach Systems, Inc. announces the official release of the Reach Access Control System (ACS) version 2.0.

The latest multi-tiered software platform called ReachNet™ provides dealers with a complete managed-access business model that delivers a wide array of services to the end-user, while building customer loyalty and creating a healthy stream of recurring monthly revenue.

The new “Integrator Level” software comes private-labeled with the integrator’s name & logo and enables the integrator to:

Deliver automated email/text message notifications and custom reports
Create private-labeled, end-user accounts
Manage all customer accounts using a single sign-on at the “Integrator Level”
Grant access to end-user accounts and page permissions by administrator, based on job responsibility
Save and distribute controller configuration templates & loading schedules
Report events to a designated Central Station using industry standard event codes

Edge chose to rename the company and flagship product, the Edge Access Control System (Edge ACS), to further differentiate our unique service-based access control solution from other legacy security products using the word “Edge” in their name. Many of these similarly named products belong to our valued partners like respected card reader manufacturer, HID Global.

The Edge ACS and EdgeWeb hosted software platform represent a critical industry turning point in the way access control services are provided. DENNIS RAEFIELD JOINS EDGE INTEGRATION SYSTEMS AS PRESIDENT

Oakland, California, July 6, 2007. Edge Integration Systems, Inc. today announced that Dennis Raefield joined the company in April as its President. Mr. Raefield was formerly the Division President of Honeywell’s Access Systems Group, growing its Northern and NexWatch Access Control brands to over 300 employees worldwide. After that, Mr. Raefield was the President of Rosslare Security Products, and President and CEO of Ortega InfoSystems, Inc. He was also the President and CEO of Omega Corporate Security, a leading systems integrator sold to Pinkerton (now Securitas).

In his position at Edge Integration, Raefield will focus on bringing Edge’s hosted web-based access control solution called the Edge Access Control System (Edge ACS) to retail, fast food, commercial property management, and other multi-location organizations needing distributed management of their access control systems. Edge Integration is offering a unique solution to the traditional access control industry, allowing systems integrators and their end users to remotely manage their access control systems without costly head-end software and the need for dedicated PC’s and security infrastructure. The system can also be configured like an alarm panel to route signals to a central station.
