MIPS moves to Expocentr
14-17 April 2008

The fourteenth edition of MIPS will take place on 14-17 April 2008.

The event has increased in size significantly over the last few years. In 2007, it grew by 12% to 6,515 sqm and featured over 300 exhibitors from 23 countries worldwide. National pavilions from UK, Italy, China, Taiwan, Korea and Finland were also present.

As well as providing space for the exhibition to grow, the new venue offers outdoor space which is ideal for demonstrating armoured vehicles, specialised security transport, fire engines and emergency and rescue vehicles.

In response to exhibitor and visitor feedback, two new sectors will also be introduced to the 2008 event: ‘Emergency and Rescue’ and ‘Safety at Work’. These will include: tools and equipment for confined spaces, electrical safety, first aid, occupational health, hygiene equipment, display materials, safety barriers, monitoring and detection systems, protective clothing, fire-fighting vehicles and rescue vehicles. The new sectors will be accommodated in Pavilion 8, Hall 3.

MIPS is an UFI (the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) approved event.
