Mace’s addition of SabraFence™ brings another quality product to the well-respected Mace line of security and surveillance systems, providing intrusion and event detection by vibration, temperature and even magnetic triggers. The system is capable of pinpointing events to within a few feet.

“We welcome SabraFence to the Mace family of security products,” said Mace CEO Dennis Raefield. “This high-quality yet affordable technology is a perfect fit to our all-encompassing protection architecture, bringing a perimeter detection and intrusion component to our expanded portfolio of camera systems, DVRs, access control and central monitoring.”

Mace CSSS Announces Integration to VideoIQ Systems

Mace Security International, Inc. ("Mace" or the "Company") (NASDAQ Global: MACE) today announced that its subsidiary, Mace CSSS, Inc. has successfully integrated the award-winning VideoIQ into its SureView™ advanced remote video monitoring and management platform.

VideoIQ, the inventor of the world’s first and only intelligent surveillance camera with a built in-DVR provides audio and video analytics, enabling Mace CSSS dealers an affordable solution for remote monitoring. Although video analytics tools have been in the marketplace for several years, they have been costly and targeted at larger surveillance systems. VideoIQ’s lower installation costs and ease of operation make it attractive to all sizes of security installations.

The VideoIQ iCVR is the only intelligent camera and encoder family that requires no calibration—users can simply plug it in and begin using it immediately. The iCVR combines automated event detection, a built-in DVR and integrated video management into a single solution–all driven by next-generation analytics. The built-in analytics adapt to changes in the environment, eliminating maintenance costs that have plagued video analytics systems in the past. The result is a simple and proactive video surveillance solution–with a low total-cost of ownership.

The combination of VideoIQ and the SureView™ video monitoring and management platform offers a cost-effective security solution that reflects Mace’s continued efforts to make Mace CSSS a leader in the central station monitoring industry.
Peter Giacalone, President of Mace Security Services, stated, “Video IQ is truly a unique technology that works! Utilizing this technology drastically reduces the associated remote monitoring monthly fees as the analytics does most of the work and only the exceptions are sent to central station for processing and action.”

"Mace dealers have a reputation for reliable, complete solutions," said Scott Schnell, President and CEO of VideoIQ. "With VideoIQ and Mace CSSS, Mace dealers can offer customers an actively monitored, event driven video security solution, providing the security of guards at a fraction of the price. This opens up a whole new stream of revenue and value add to Mace dealers."

Mace CSSS Now Offers Integration to Videofied™ Remote Video Security System

Mace Security International, Inc. ("Mace" or the “Company”) (Nasdaq Global: MACE) today announced that its subsidiary, Mace CSSS, Inc. through its stages ™ central station automation system, has successfully integrated to the Videofied™ video verification security monitoring system.

This unique state of the art platform allows the Mace CSSS central station monitoring center to receive video verification of alarm events activated through the Videofied security system.

The Videofied™ system was developed by RSI VIDEO TECHNOLOGIES® a global manufacturer and solutions provider. Mace CSSS has added RSI’s server to its central station and integrated the signal and video processing with the stages ™ automation processing system.

The Videofied™ system incorporates a wireless motion viewer, with a built in digital camera and illuminator for night vision. Upon detecting motion, the viewer sends a 10 second video clip to the Mace CSSS monitoring center. Mace receives the video verification and utilizes two way voice to investigate the alarm incident and respond immediately.

Video verification provides greater alarm accuracy and reduced false alarms, providing faster and more efficient law enforcement response. Video verification is increasingly in demand in remote sites such as construction, utility substations, and communication towers.

Peter P. Giacalone, President of Mace Security Services, stated: “As a recognized leader in remote video monitoring, it’s essential that the Mace CSSS line of services includes platforms like Videofied™ to enhance our dealer’s offerings while increasing their revenue stream. This unique platform will afford our dealers the opportunity to raise their competitive position by offering services to remote applications where electricity and communications are not available”.

Keith Jentoft, President of RSI Video Technologies added: “We are pleased to have Mace as a partner. Mace understands that police give higher priority response when the monitoring center confirms an intruder is present. Central stations using Videofied™ for higher priority police response get apprehensions and deliver greater value to their customers.”

Dennis Raefield, CEO of Mace further stated, “This new integration provides a unique security application for an exploding market for remote video verification. We are very pleased to be able to offer this service to our customers.”

In the next phase, the division will upgrade its existing video monitoring and management platform Sure View to offer its dealers a web services interface. The final phase of this new service level will be provided through the introduction of the backStage™ platform that will provide continuous data collection and knowledge to manage network risks.

Peter P. Giacalone, President of Mace Security Services, stated: “This ground breaking technology upgrade to the SGS stages™ platform is more than a great stride for Mace. This is equally a big step for the industry. With the benefit of our vast management experience, we have the stages™ platform working hand in hand with our Sure View Video Management platform.
