Security is no longer the sole responsibility of the authorities, but requires a combined effort from companies and individuals. Today, being able to interoperate, share information and overcome the undesired threats collectively are crucial to national resilience. Home Defence & Border Protection Asia 2008 (HDBP 2008) will focus on the key challenges, responses and solutions facing those involved in national security, business resilience and operating on borders of Asia today. The conference will also highlight new and emerging challenges of security that we have to grapple with these days. Through a series of keynote presentations, case studies and panel discussions, expert speakers will guide delegates through the maze of new international security initiatives, regulations and explain how enabling technologies can protect the nation and its borders from terrorists and organized crime.
