GSA Exhibitions Private Limited (GSAL) was a UK-Singapore joint venture company which successfully launched Global Security Asia 2005 in Singapore as a biennial Event with the full support of the Ministry of Home Affairs to meet the needs of the international Homeland Security Industry.

The second edition in the Series was held in March 2007 and was another unqualified success. At the conclusion of the 2007 Event, the Organisers’ received many positive comments from Exhibitors, Delegates and Visitors on its efficient planning and organisation which augered well for the future.

The Organisers are pleased to announce that GSA Exhibitions Pte Ltd, owned by a UK-Singapore joint venture company, has been acquired by Roger Marriott who will be Chairman of the new company and Andrew Marriott, who is well known in the industry, as Managing Director together with Ooi Teik Chai, our Resident Director based in our new Singapore Office.

Roger Marriott was the architect and founder not only of the GSA Series but also of the highly acclaimed International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference Asia (IMDEX Asia) Series which has been held in Singapore on a biennial basis since 1997. He was also the founder and MD of the very successful DIMDEX Series which was launched in Doha, Qatar in March 2008.The Company will continue to have global coverage both from a Conference and Exhibition standpoint, having established offices in the UK and Singapore together with a network of Agents covering strategic areas of the world.

The only dedicated Homeland Security Event in the Asia Pacific Region, Global Security Asia 2009 that addresses challenges and solutions to Asymmetric Warfare will open its doors once again in Singapore from 17 to 19 March. The third in the Series GSA 2009 will serve the global community and present it with a platform for industry, Governments and professionals to meet, interact, network and develop solutions to build their Homeland Security organisations and infrastructures.

Like previous Shows, GSA 2009 continues to enjoy the full support of the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs as the Host Organisation, and its five Departments and Statutory Boards, namely the Singapore Police Force, Internal Security Department, Singapore Civil Defense Force, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, and the Home Team Academy as Official Supporting Organisations. It is also supported by the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore and the Singapore Exhibitions and Conventions Bureau. GSA 2009 is now also endorsed by the US Department of Commerce and certified under the U.S. DOC Trade Fair Certification Programme. The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is also again supporting this Event.
