Perimeter Security Case Study by Dr Frucht: In order to evaluate the potential market, we will look to 2 market segments where our products exhibit a clear advantage: fixed perimeter systems ( border and infrastructure) and mobile security systems. In the fixed perimeter systems field we are competing with the Video Motion Detectors (VMD). The VMD is based on the picture analysis. During the last 2-3 years several tests were conducted and they brought up the high sensibility of VMD to the outdoor environment. The advantage of our sensors is that they are "active", they do not analyze shadows but asses if there is an intruder by measuring the changes in the distances between the background and the target and size of the suspected object. Moreover, it can take into account the target movement characteristics such as speed, directions etc. Due to the high resolution of our sensors in range and angle (centimeters and milliradians) the software can discriminate the movement of vegetation. The sensors developed by the company where designed for mobile applications. They are robust, rigid, not affected by urban environment and vegetation, easy to install (can be operational within tens of seconds) and by adding Power Supply (batteries) and Wire Less they are easy to become "virtual guardians". Our sensors were integrated in mobile / portable security systems for deployed forces, landing airplanes and helicopters, missile sites etc. Typically, those sites are located in urban areas where our sensors perform much better than other sensors and especially radars and mobile VMD or IR barriers. The civilian market of mobile systems focuses on events such as Olympic Games, VIP meetings, VIP landing airplanes etc. In those events there can not be delivered physical fences, barb wire etc., thus the solution is virtual fencing. Dr Frucht Systems increases the detection range
Following market inputs and demands Dr. Frucht Systems enhanced the LFS product line by increasing the detection range and adding new LFS type products. The company already received orders for those products. They are currently installed in perimeter security projects in Japan and France. Dr. Frucht Systems Ltd. (DFSL) signed with Safeguard Technology LLC (STL) a distribution agreement for the US, Canada and Mexico Markets. DFSL specializes in Laser Radar based security systems. Those systems successfully passed important tests in Japan and France. Following those tests they are installed in sensitive sites such as military basis, harbor facilities, power plants , chemical plants etc. STL is a leading US security company . Their list of customer is impressive : nuclear facilities, prisons, power plants , airports etc. We believe that this strategic partnership will help both of the companies to increase their sell on the US market. Dr. Frucht Systems Ltd. has already representatives in EEC, Japan, India and Romania.
Following a successful show in Bucuresti, at the EXPOMIL, Dr. Frucht Systems Ltd. (DFSL) established commercial relationships with two leading Companies active in Security : UTI (http://www.uti.ro/) and Prooptica (http://www.prooptica.ro/) . They purchased first units for DEMO and pilot installations for Romanian and as well as for foreign clients. Nature (http://www.e-nature.co.jp/) , DFSL representative in Japan, will install a combination of LFS-C and LFS-B (www.smartsecsystems.com) , for a perimeter security project at one of Mitsubishi Chemical site. LFS-C : This sensor includes a laser radar, camera and IR illuminator and it is oriented towards the commercial market. It was displayed at APS (Paris) and Expomil (Bucuresti) 2. 3 Track : A sensor which integrates 3 detection & tracking technologies : laser radar, tracking camera backed by IR eye safe IR Illuminator and a scanning Doppler radar . This sensor is capable of automatic detecting and tracking intruders at ranges of up to 200m , thus a unit can cover a circle of 400m diameter. This sensor was shown first at MILIPOL (Paris).

Frucht Systems Ltd. Announces the Launching of its New Products This is a unique system
capable of detecting and autonomously tracking intruders at any visibility
condition. As default , the system scan the area with the Laser Radar
( in the same manner as the ALS), when the signal process unit detects
any degradation in the laser detection , as may occur during heavy fog,
it automatically forward the command to the Scanning Doppler. When an
intruder is detected by the Laser Radar or by the Doppler, the camera
automatically takes the pictures and track the intruder. The system detects
low illumination condition and automatically switch on the IR. It will
be presented at the nearest Milipol Show in Paris.
