for the distribution of the new IP Telephone exchange Centers with Commercial
code “IPK”. CSI SA announces the Establishment and Operation of a New Branch Office in Bucharest, Romania. Athens, October 2004 - Greek business and financial presentation in the Balkan region is becoming stronger and stronger every day, targeting mainly the Markets of Romania, Bulgaria & FYROM. Concerning the Romanian market the numbers are very impressive. Almost 2,500 manufacturing plants belong to Greek multinational companies including large and strategic partners coming from the Romanian state sector such as the Romanian Telecom (which now is part of Greek Telecom), Romanian Power Organization, the former state and exclusive manufacturer of Romanian Cement, etc. Also the Greek banking system for over three years has targeted the Romanian market and today the majority (95%) of Romanian Banks belongto Greek Banking institutions. CSI’s top management, after carefully examining the aforementioned factors and determining that: a) Romania will be a fully EC member early in 2007, spending large amounts for infrastructure: and b) The increasing demand the existing CSI’s clientele base for networking systems globally controlled; has taken the decision to create the necessary platform for market step-in and penetration. Our immediate plan of action includes branch offices in Bulgaria and Cyprus to expandas much as possible our co-operation with manufacturers. Concerning the FYROM market - we are ready to sign a distribution agreement with the largest Electrical/ Electronics Distribution Company in the country.
