CSI was founded to serve the Dutch multinational electronics company PHILIPS as the sole distributor of Professional Observation Systems (POS) in the Greek market.

CSI has been distributing Access Control and Public Address products since 1992, and Integrated Security Systems and EAS. products since 1993.
Since 1998 CSI has been part of European PHILIPS distribution channel, as official distribution and technical support partner.

In 2003 GE Interlogix appointed CSI as a business partner for enterprise technologies in the region (Greece, Cyprus, Balkans).

CSI's business is divided into two main sectors:
* National distribution through local authorized centres
* Design and execution of large scale projects.

Some of the most important Security and Communications projects in Greece have been designed and executed through our company or under our control, such as:
* Traffic control
* Surveillance communications with fiber optics
* Public Address systems of the largest Greek stadiums and underwater tunnels
* Congress systems of Public organizations and Greek Ministries
* Paging and Nurse Call Systems in the majority of Greek Hospitals
* CCTV installations in approximately 800 Greek bank branches
These all clarify our strong presence in the local market.

Meanwhile CSI continues to expand by adding to its product portfolio other products, focusing in the field of security systems and communications.

With administrative staff of 25 persons, 14 technicians, 14 freelancers dealing with sales, 20 Authorized (under CSI colours) distributors and 160 official dealers all over the country, the company has developed a client list of 3,500 varies sized Public and Private Companies with whom we have good relations, by selling professional equipment and maintaing professional post-sales contacts.

CSI GLOBAL SA announces today the “Business Agreement” with SIEMENS BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES “SIEMENS BT FIRE SAFETY & SECURITY PRODUCTS”, concerning the distribution of entire Security Product Range as: (Intrusion, Fire, CCTV, Access Control) through CSI’s organized network across Greece.

CSI’s strategy is to full empower the competitiveness of CSI Authorized dealers offering an additional product portfolio became from the stronger global manufacture; SIEMENS.

Soon, CSI GLOBAL will expand Business Agreement covering CSI’s branch sales offices in ROMANIA, BULGARIA & CYPRUS.

CSI SA announce the co-operation with PHILIPS BUSINESS COMMUNICATION (PBC) for the distribution of the new IP Telephone exchange Centers with Commercial code “IPK”.

The “IPK” telephone exchanges targeting small and medium size installation and figured as the perfect solution for IP communications.
Trading and distribution will be succeeded through CSI’s vertical organized “Key Account
Partners” allover Greece and CSI’s branch offices in Cyprus and Romania.

Athens, October 2004 - Greek business and financial presentation in the Balkan region is becoming stronger and stronger every day, targeting mainly the Markets of Romania, Bulgaria & FYROM.

Concerning the Romanian market the numbers are very impressive. Almost 2,500 manufacturing plants belong to Greek multinational companies including large and strategic partners coming from the Romanian state sector such as the Romanian Telecom (which now is part of Greek Telecom), Romanian Power Organization, the former state and exclusive manufacturer of Romanian Cement, etc.

Also the Greek banking system for over three years has targeted the Romanian market and today the majority (95%) of Romanian Banks belongto Greek Banking institutions.

CSI’s top management, after carefully examining the aforementioned factors and determining that: a) Romania will be a fully EC member early in 2007, spending large amounts for infrastructure: and b) The increasing demand the existing CSI’s clientele base for networking systems globally controlled; has taken the decision to create the necessary platform for market step-in and penetration.

Our immediate plan of action includes branch offices in Bulgaria and Cyprus to expandas much as possible our co-operation with manufacturers. Concerning the FYROM market - we are ready to sign a distribution agreement with the largest Electrical/ Electronics Distribution Company in the country.
