Altronix Introduces ReServ™ UPS Solutions With IP Connectivity
At ASIS 2009. Deliver Simultaneous And Continuous 12/24VDC Power.

Altronix is showing new additions to its line of ReServ Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions here at ASIS 2009. The new ReServ2 and the ReServ2E provide uninterrupted 24VAC for cameras during normal, brownout and power fail conditions, and are designed with 16 true sine wave-regulated 24VAC outputs. Additionally, the ReServ2E includes a built-in Ethernet port which provides e-mail alerts for notification of AC status, battery and power output conditions.

The HubSat4WP transmits video, data and power over a single structured cable, and
accommodates up to four cameras.

Altronix Access Power Controller Receives UL Listing.
ACM4 Provides A Scalable Cost-Effective Access Control Solution.

Altronix, the leading manufacturer of low voltage power supplies and related accessories for the electronic security industry, announces that the ACM4 series of four output access power controllers have received UL listing.

Each product in the ACM4 series routes and distributes 12 to 24 volts AC or DC for operation and control of access hardware devices. Four independently controlled outputs may be individually selected for fail-safe or fail-secure operation.

Two models, Altronix ACM4E with fuse-protected outputs and the ACM4CBE with PTC-protected outputs, are housed in enclosures and may be utilized to expand the number of outputs for any UL listed power supply. The ACM4E and the ACM4CBE have received UL listing in the United States and Canada. These units are also available as ACM4 and ACM4CB which are sub-assemblies without enclosures that carry the UL mark in the United States.

The units’ outputs can be activated by an open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger input from an access control system, card reader, keypad, push button, PIR, etc. Fire alarm disconnect options include normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dry contact input and polarity reversal input from an FACP (Fire Alarm Control Panel) signaling circuit. An alarm output relay indicates that FACP input is triggered. LEDs indicate output and fire alarm disconnect status.

The units are designed to be powered by one common power source that can provide power for both the unit's operation and locking devices; or by two totally independent power sources, one to operate the unit and the other for lock/accessory power.

Altronix VertiLine™ Video Power Supplies Are Now UL Listed In The U.S. And Canada.

The HubSat remote video/data/power accessory module allows the transmission of four video signals over one CAT5E/6 or higher cable and is designed to interface with all new Altronix HubWay and HubWayLD models. Alan Forman was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and began his career at the apprentice level working for a local security company. Alan applied his interest and background in engineering during these early years at which time he learned the security trade through hands-on experience providing him exposure to a wide range of diversified security systems.

In 1974, Alan founded Arrow Protection Services Inc., which quickly grew to be one of the area’s leading companies in the installation and service of commercial and residential alarm systems with its own central station. During the course of expanding the business, Alan grew increasingly interested in developing a line of security components that delivered a higher degree of performance and quality.

With this vision in mind, Alan co-founded Altronix Corp. in 1984. Initial products included low voltage power supplies and controllers which progressed to more advanced products with UL listings. In 2005 Alan was inducted into the Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame, which honors key industry figures for their lifetime achievement, their dedication and their accomplishments.
