Air&Port Security Expo has established itself as the one place where buyers from the transport industry can see all of the latest passenger and freight security equipment in one place.
Now in its 3rd edition, the 2005 show has added many new features that will make it a truly compelling visit!
The Human
Factor - Demonstration Theatre
‘In-flight hijack management’ and ‘suicide bomber identification’
are just two of the exercises that will be carried out in the show’s
new specially equipped theatre. Organisations specialising in mainly human
factor-based solutions will demonstrate their latest capabilities throughout

International
Aircraft Cabin Safety Symposium – SCSI (tbc)
A three day symposium to run 21-23 June alongside the show. Safety and
security seems to be integrating in ways that are not yet totally clear.
This special edition of the symposium will focus on the hazy line between
safety and security. Attendees will receive a certificate for their participation.
Crime &
Theft in Transport
A dedicated symposium will run alongside the show with end-user case studies
focusing on new ways to reduce the loss incurred through crime and theft
in the transport industry. Visitors will also hear from experts involved
in investigations of organised criminal gangs.
Cargo X-ray
– Live Demonstrations
Air&Port is the only show in the world to display, and demonstrate,
cargo screening equipment which is a huge visitor attraction. Air&Port
Security Expo Europe 05 will have additional cargo arenas and an even
wider spread of equipment.

NB. A key emphasis of the above symposiums is to encourage interaction between buyers and exhibitors. Breaks will be staggered and delegates with have longer time-periods to network with suppliers.
